At BFS, the exemplary Truck Loader performs a key role for the Operation loading doors, millwork and other building materials into route trucks through loading docks in a warehouse. They support the needs of their location and create smooth sailing for the team. Major Responsibilities: • Stage and load products into box trucks. • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. • Reads work orders or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials to be loaded. • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. • Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincher. • Operate forklifts to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Required Skills • Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED. • Read and use a measuring tape and other basic tools. • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Required Experience • Minimum Experience: Loading, Warehousing, Forklift experience preferred but not necessary **Pre-Employment Drug Test Required
