Volante Design is looking for fabric cutting help. The job includes ensuring that our products are cut efficiently and accurately. Supporting the sewing production team by streamlining cut pieces, and aid with finishing tasks as requested. Responsibilities include: Spread and count layers of fabric as per the cut ticket Ensure consistent and safe use of the Kuris cutting machine Maintain the Kuris and any other tools that the production team uses Keep cut timing data as well as other records for production Maintain an orderly work space Keep the fabric shelves categorized and orderly Ensure that supplies are in place before they are needed Work with production on finishing garments when requested The right person will be a steady worker who is good at keeping track of the details. The work is not very arduous, but it does require a close attention to detail. Applicants must be able to work with a wide range of people.
