We are HIRING at Double Edge Equipment. We do Sales, Service and Rentals. We are a used equipment dealer that does it differently! Our primary focus is sales with a small rental fleet and fast growing service department because of our reputation for putting out quality equipment and putting our customers first. The demand keeps growing as they turn to us to help service and maintain their equipment. We are building a new 15,000 Sq Ft Facility and have multiple openings coming for multiple positions as we continue to grow! Shop Mechanic Duties: We have an immediate need for a full time Heavy Equipment Shop Technicians Specializing in Aerial Equipment but also having a knowledge of dirt equipment. We are a dealer for JLG and SKY TRAK, SKY JACK and specialize in JLG\SKY TRAK telehandler-reach forklifts, boom lifts and scissor lifts, also need to be very familiar with Genie and other aerial equipment. Preferred candidates will have 2-5 years of hands-on experience working on aerial and heavy equipment including, but not limited to, telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, backhoes, wheel loaders, forklifts, ground heaters, skid steers, mini excavators to name a few. High school diploma or equivalent is Preferred, with applicable technical, vocational, trade school coursework or equivalent work experience preferred or just old school experience. Individual must be skilled in repair and diagnosis of electrical, hydraulic, Diesel engine and pneumatic systems, as well as welding and fabrication. Candidate must be proficient in interpretation of electrical and hydraulic schematics, and be familiar with the theory and application of electronic control modules and circuits. Applicant must have a complete set of hand tools, adequate for working on heavy equipment. Write accurate, legible service reports, order parts, communicate to customers and neatly fill out and turn in all company required paper work. Entry Level Applicant Duties: Duties to include but not limited to Cleaning Equipment with Attention to Detail, Power Washing, Installing Decals, Sanding and Paint Prep, Greasing and Checking Fluids, Fueling Machines. Loading equipment and to help assist customers check in or out. Help Mechanics on Service work as needed. We are willing to look at someone with experience or train the right person! The right candidate will be able to work alone, without supervision. Will be honest and positive, with a can do attitude, passion to learn, attention to detail and a great work ethic! Must be able to be professional at all times and keep a cool head even in adverse conditions or situations!!
