Want to work outside wearing no mask? Interested in organic, no dig farming? We have a part time position available, 2 days per week. We are flexible on which days and would entertain slightly more or less hours or even full time for the right applicant. We are a small organic farm in Kula. Some experience or similar experience is preferred. As farm work can be a physically demanding activity at times, applicants that enjoy a physical lifestyle and participate in physical activities on a regular basis would be the best fit for the position. Farm hand duties include, gathering and cleaning eggs, harvesting fruit, seed starting, planting, fertilizing plants, watering plants, cleaning and maintaining plants, removing old plants, caring for farm animals, mowing, weeding, weed whacking, irrigation repair or install, fence repair and/or install or even at times light construction. Typically work hours are from 8 to 4:30 M-TH and half day on Friday for a total of a 36 hours work week. An Ohana attitude, respect for the land and strong work ethic is/are required.
