Salutations fellow musical artists. I am a very seasoned and unique songwriter with two albums (yes, albums) worth of original songs ready for a dynamic, powerful, skilled and unique timbre male vocalist (sorry ladies, but that is what these tunes call for) to complete and elevate them. About the music: While it jumps, jerks, scratches and punches its way into various genres and vibes, the music is all very melodic and super catchy. It follows no set of rules or other artists, it just is; but, if one feels absolute need for categorizing or find the 'influenced by', I suppose if The Beatles, DEVO, Pink Floyd, The Ventures, Buddy Holly, Elvis, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Mozart, Peter Gabriel (early solo), Bach, Radiohead, T-Rex, Iron Butterfly, Black Sabbath, The Guess Who, Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders and Roy Clark had an orgy, this stuff COULD be the wily, middle finger-brandishing love child. About the vocals: If you can sing with Chris Cornell's power, soul, piss-and-vinegar, originality and are cool to work with, we may just have something special. Does that mean I am looking for a Cornell wannabe? Absolutely not. He merely serves as an example of what kind of vocals could work well with this material. Other examples might be Robert Plant, Freddy, early Bowie, or even Elvis. Age matters not. Maturity, skill and an amiable personality do. Insecure arseholes or virtue-signaling idealogues would not fit well here. Ultimately, the best example is simply a vocalist that is friendly, has his own trip, but a huge range and interest in changing up vibes from one song to another. My ultimate hell is being saddled with a catalogue of 'all-songs-sound-the-same.' So, if you are an artist more comfortable wielding broad brush strokes and embracing variety, then we may have a match. As far as the mechanics go, we can correspond virtually and record separately, so our locations matter not. What counts is forging the best possible art that we can. Rock-and-Roll is on the ropes and in need of a serious transfusion these days, so let us rise to the occasion. Here is to a fabulously creative and adventurous 2022.
