Description
The National Arboretum is a gem. Help make it shine by volunteering to pull invasive vines and weeds.
Join us for a volunteer day on the grounds of the US National Arboretum! Help keep the newly restored Springhouse Run stream healthy by pulling invasive vines and weeds. No experience necessary.
The Friends of the National Arboretum and the US National Arboretum staff need your help with the continued care of the newly restored Springhouse Run. This is a stream that runs through the grounds of the Arboretum and into the Anacostia River. The stream has been beautifully restored with pools, riffles, rocks, and a waterfall.
That’s where you can help!
