The Gem of the Highlands Award Celebration The Gem of the Highlands Award is new this year and is presented by Norwood Together to recognize Norwood residents who have volunteered, making significant contributions to their neighborhood, school, or community during 2021. These are the gems of our community! We’ll celebrate these community treasures with an event at 5:30 pm February 24 at The Ventura, on the corner of Sherman Avenue and Montgomery Road. The event is free, but donations to Norwood Together are always welcome. Receiving this recognition is a way to highlight the accomplishments of our city’s volunteer community leaders, express gratitude for their generous donation of time and talent, and inspire others to become involved in Norwood.
