Midwest racer last name of Reynart or Raynart

This is a long shot to ask but does anyone remember a racer that ran or still runs in the Midwest area by the last name of Reynart or Raynart? I can't quite remember how the last name was spelled or the exact family detail but I remember 15 years ago my middle school art teacher was either married to, or the sister of a guy who had what I remember being a white Spec Miata. I definitely remember her showing me a picture of him at Road America.
