Educator and Master Naturalist, Luke Hunt, will be demonstrating how to identify trees in the winter. It's not too difficult to tell an oak from a maple in the middle of summer when the trees are full of leaves, but could you tell them apart in the winter?! Winter walks can be a lot more exciting when you can identify the foliage around you. Luke Hunt will be walking participants through twig dissections to show key identifying factors for a variety of trees, including one invasive. Event will take place indoors. Coffee and light snacks provided. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
