Contact Kim Morrison at [email protected] Anne Hayden, RE/MAX Properties East Kim Morrison, The Hygge Gathering Kim is the founder and owner of The Hygge Gathering. As the cozy curator of gatherings, she connects creatives and small businesses through community workshops and mutually beneficial partnerships. Her focus is locally owned small businesses and creatives to the Kentuckiana area. Her passion is creating connections and opportunities for restoration for women. It brings her great joy host warm, thoughtfully designed gatherings with a spirit of welcome for all. It is in the gathering that the true power of hygge is released. She desires for all present to have space to be known and to know others. Hygge connects with her soul and encourages her to share the Danish way of life with others. Kim discovered the Danish practice of hygge (pronounced "hoo-gah", mostly closely translated to “coziness”) while transitioning out of a dark season of postpartum depression and anxiety. Practicing a lifestyle of hygge helps many to slow down, process, and embrace where they are right now. Hygge calls Kim, and many others worldwide, to seek margin. A desire bubbles up—to pause, think, rest, be present. Creating, crafting, planting, gathering, meditating, reading, reflectiing, working with your hands, and exploring nature are all important components of a hygge life well lived. Come, hygge together with us. Follow the hygge gathering on Instagram and say hi to Kim!
