About the instructor LaShawn Hill stepped into the business arena at the early age of 12, when her parents allowed her to run a candy table in the front yard. From that point until now, LaShawn has always been an entrepreneur. Over the many decades that followed her first candy stand, she’s successfully started 4 restaurants, 2 women’s boutiques, bought and sold real estate and developed 5 of her own brands. LaShawn has mastered managing multiple tasks. Through the years, LaShawn has worked with struggling businesses and assisted with solutions that would steer their businesses toward the direction of success. LaShawn considers herself to be a “problem solver” and doesn’t shy away from challenges. Because of this, LaShawn is considered to be an expert among her peers. LaShawn has always been aware of how much her faith has carried her through the ups and downs of the always changing business cycle. Faith and belief in biblical principles has guided her personal life as well as business. LaShawn believes wholeheartedly her tenacity and unwavering desire to succeed comes from her spiritual foundation. Hence, any instruction will typically be delivered using biblical principles as the foundation, and faith as a springboard to guide all discussions. LaShawn Hill graduated Cum Laude (with honors) in 2020 from the University of North Texas at Dallas with a degree in Business. She has always excelled in the workplace and she’s well versed in many industries.
