A casual meet-up around the campfire to get to know our neighbors and talk about life's deeper questions. With s'mores and hot cocoa! Campfire & Conversation is a chance for Seacoast area residents to meet new people and connect with their neighbors in a positive way. Each fire we host is accompanied by a casual and warm conversation about what some call life's two-fold purpose: personal growth and contribution to humanity. We always end up having a great conversation about some deep stuff! We also always have s'mores and hot cocoa! This event is sponsored by Green Acre Baha'i Center of Learning and is free and open to people of all spiritual traditions, including none. To learn more about Green Acre, please visit: https://www.greenacre.org/. Please join us at Fellowship House in Eliot on Saturday, January 22nd at 3pm for a campfire and a chance to connect. This is a great space for families with children (we like those small people!) and single folks as well. Feel free to bring your instruments and see how the afternoon unfolds! We may end up making some music and new friends. Fellowship House is located at 1037 Main Street in Eliot, 2 blocks north of Green Acre's main campus. Fellowship House is set back quite a ways from Main St, with a large parking lot. The fire pit is situated behind the building and is easily accessible, with no stairs or hills to navigate (though there is a slope, and there may be snow!). There will be a chairs available, but you're welcome to bring your own chairs (and blankets to keep warm!). We’ll wrap up by 5:30pm, but feel free to arrive any time before then. Restrooms are available, and we ask that you please wear a mask if you use the building facilities. This event is free of charge. Registration is not required though it is encouraged, so we have a sense of how many people to plan for. We look forward to seeing you there!
