My name is Matt and am early 40s and live in Cloverdale, looking to start a band that focuses on hard rock and metal. I play guitar and bass and have a nice little rig for both. I'm looking to start and/or join and existing band that wants to play live music and get folks to lose their minds. Covers is a great way to get gigs and get people to enjoy themselves and I'd focus on a set list of about 50 songs to go out and rock - this will help us get the live show experience down while we work on original content. Also, with covers, we can practice the songs ourselves remotely and get together once a week to jam em out, no need to practice three times a week unless we really wanted to. Sample Setlist - Think party your ass off songs that everybody knows the words too: Cult - Fire Woman Billy Idol - Rebel Yell Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar on Me Metallica - Enter Sandman Guns n Roses - Sweet Child o 'Mine The band will need the following: Lead Guitar Bass Rythem Guitar 3rd Guitar Keys Drummer Female Lead Vox Male Lead Vox Band members need to carry their weight financially, ie. Own your own equipment and responsibilities to the band. I don't want to front this band, but there are a couple songs I could sing; that said, I am a born leader and a perfectionist, so I will be leading the direction of the band, but am open to suggestions, set list changes, and always open for original music.
