Fun 4 week sewing class for students 8-12 years old with little to no sewing experience

We will learn the basics of machine sewing and use those skills to make a travel pillow.
$150 ($50 is paid on Eventbrite to reserve your spot and the remaining balance of $100 will be due the February 1st at The Studio)
Ages 8-12
This class is for students with little to no sewing experience.
All materials and tools included. We provide sewing machines but if a student has a machine, they are encouraged to bring and learn on it.
COVID-19 Protocol: Masks are required for anyone entering the building over the age of 4. Students and instructors will wear masks for the entire duration of class. Masks can be removed to take a drink of water. Machines, tools, and workspace area are all disinfected prior to class.
The Studio is a creative space ran out of MESH cowork in downtown Bakersfield. The Studio offers both sewing and creative workshop for all ages. Instructors Amanda Shaffer and Jocelyn Dimaya teach both private and group sewing classes. The Studio brings in different makers to teach workshops every month such as woodworking, painting, calligraphy, and so much more.
