Night at the Museum (N@TM) is an annual fundraising event benefitting the Augusta Museum of History's preservation and exhibition efforts. Night at the Museum (N@TM) is an annual fundraising event benefitting the Augusta Museum of History's preservation and exhibition efforts. The combination of theatre and museum education turns history into a personal, interactive experience, making history tangible for all ages. Guests can also enjoy beverages and light hors d'oeuvres, before and after their journey through time. As the doors close and the lights dim, Security Officers guide guests through the Museum to be entertained and enlightened! The Museum exhibits not only serve as a stage, but also become a lifelike setting for the joys, sorrows and lives of our historical figures and their eventful stories. This year's cast of characters include: John Bartram - Presented by Chris Rucker James Henry Balchin - Presented by Joseph Zukowski Cornelia Winfield - Presented by LaRahna Hughes Silas Norman, Jr. - Presented by Joseph P. Washington, III Eulalie Salley - Presented by Karin Sisk Relationship Between James Brown & Danny Ray – Presented by Deanna Brown Thomas Frank Yerby - Presented by Leon Maben Dr. Loree Florence - Presented by Kim Vickers Gov. Carl Sanders - Presented by Gen. Perry Smith Arnold Palmer - Presented by Matt Porter Two tour times are being offered. Please choose either the 6:00 pm time slot or the 7:30 pm time slot. Doors open for the first group at 5:30 p.m. and for second group at 7 p.m. Because of COVID precautions a limited number of tickets will be available. We offer 3 forms of admission: General, Children (ages 6 - 18), and Military (Active & Veteran). Military admission will require verification of identification at the door. The Augusta Museum of History collects, preserves, and interprets history in relation to the past of Augusta and Central Savannah River region.
