It breaks my heart to make this post but I know it has to be done. I have a two year old male cockatiel. We are super close and I love him a lot but I was not expecting to be as busy as I am with this current job. My future plans with college and work also do not include much room for my little buddy. I’m looking for someone with a lot of love in their heart, who is ready to take on the challenge of caring for a bird. They are not displays you can keep in a cage. They require a lot of quality time and love and I just can’t offer as much time as I used to. My bird is very tame, he’ll sit on your hand, shoulders, anywhere. He loves head pets and will make kissy noises at you, sometimes he sings september by earth wind and fire. His comfort song is Patience by guns n’ roses. He likes to tap his beak on tables, phone and computer screens. He’sa very silly guy. I’m looking for $250 to ensure he goes to a good home. I can give you some of his toys, a travel backpack to take him on walks, his flight suit, and another flight suit that we’ve never used. The flight suit is good to take him out and also collects his poop so he may not dirty up your shoulders. I cant provide a cage. He is fully flighted. I can clip his wings if that is what you’d prefer but he does fly. He does okay with other birds. I have tried buying him a friend so he wouldn’t be as lonely when Im at work. The other bird didn’t really like him but he made attempts at being friends
