SALEM, MA — The two state-run "Stop the Spread" coronavirus testing sites will be closed on Tuesday because of the expected extreme cold. Salem officials said on Monday that the drive-thru site at Salem High School, as well as the walk-in testing site at St. Peter's Church, will both be closed on Tuesday as wind chills are forecast to remain below zero throughout the day. Salem scheduled a city resident-only testing date for the Community Life Center from 4 to 8 p.m.on Bridge Street. No proof of insurance or citizenship is required, but proof of residency is and should be brought to the testing. Residents can sign up here.
