MASSAPEQUA, NY — A 75-year-old man was killed in a car crash in Massapequa Sunday afternoon, Nassau County police said. According to police, the man was driving a Hyndai Sonata north on Carmans Road, near Baily Drive, at 12:40 p.m. Police say he was in a head-on collision with a Honda Civic that was driven by a 33-year-old woman. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor. The woman was hospitalized with a possible broken leg, but is in stable condition. Police say the investigation into the crash is ongoing. The names of those involved were not released.
