MILFORD, MA — Nomination season for the 2022 Milford election is underway, and many candidates have already pulled papers to run this spring. Candidates were able to start pulling papers to run on Jan. 3. They have until Feb. 11 to pick up papers, and signatures must be returned by Feb. 15, according to the Town Clerk. As of Jan. 6, incumbent Library Trustee Stephanie Abisla, incumbent Select Board member Michael Walsh and incumbent School Committee member John Erickson had all picked up papers. Two-time School Committee candidate RJ Sheedy has also pulled papers to run in 2022. He was appointed in August to the School Committee seat previously held by James Ligor. Leonard Marcone Jr. has also pulled papers to run for a seat on the Sewer Commission. Sewer Commissioner Richard J. Cenedella is the only incumbent from that board up for election this year. And in the five-way constable race, incumbents Nadine Ladeau and Raymond Pagucci Jr. have both picked up papers. Here are all the seats up for election in 2022 in Milford: Michael K.
