New COVID-19 Testing Site Coming To Spanaway

SPANAWAY, WA — A new COVID-19 testing site is opening this week in Pierce County. Starting Tuesday, Jan. 11, the county will begin hosting a drive-thru testing site at Spanaway Park, located at 14905 Breseman Blvd. S. The temporary site will be open Tuesday through Saturday each week, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. As with other county-run testing sites, no appointment is necessary and results should arrive within three to five days. The new site is good news for a region that has been struggling to keep up with a surge in demand for testing. Just last week, the county closed the long-running Lakewood testing site after determining that overcrowding was making the location unsafe. The county's other site, located at the Washington State Fairgrounds, remains open. 🚨 Our COVID-19 testing site at the Washington State Fair Bronze lot is open today.
