BEVERLY, MA — The Beverly Police Department has made a series of promotions following recent retirements. Lieutenant Mark Panwani was promoted from sergeant and will be in charge of the evening shift. Lieutenant David Costa was promoted from sergeant and will be in charge of the midnight shift. Sergeant Dana Nicholson was promoted from officer and will be assigned to the midnight shift. Sergeant Justin Zwicker was promoted from officer and was assigned to the midnight shift.
