Defensive Tactics1: Flexible drills to build Accuracy, Speed, and Cognitive Function This is a series of flexible and dynamic classes where the content is always changing and you are constantly developing and refining your defensive shooting skills.This is where we bring your skills up to as high a level as you can go! This class is by invitation only and Skillbuilder 3 is a required prerequisite, as the foundational knowledge you learned in all 3 skill-builders will be necessary.Safety is going to be of utmost importance as we will be working into drills where muzzle discipline and finger discipline are critical. We are going to make you work on the cognitive as well as the physical manipulation...and we will push your envelope! This will be fun and challenging, and you will develop not only muscle memory but your way of managing situations. Your muscle isolation will develop as well as your coordination ...and isolation...of thought and action ...you will become a machine! Emphasis will be on shot accountability, use of cover & movement, decision making, and tactics. Each meeting will be managed as a class however drills and format of the sessions will vary as necessary to develop a rounded scope of shooting skills.We will meet early to avoid the heat of the day and will use Tactical Pit #5. Each session will be approximately 1.5 hours.Looking forward to seeing you on the range!Pre-Requisite: Skill-Builder 3Required Materials:- Outside the Waistband (OWB) holster...kydex or some form of plastic recommended- Magazine holder strongly recommended...magazines in pockets will slow you down...and...it is time to bring your game to a new level.- Semi-Automatic Pistol with at least 2 magazines...more if you have them (3 is ideal)- 200 rounds practice ammo...bring more if you have it just in case (You know how we work).- Hat ...baseball type or anything with a brim.- Hearing Protection- Eye Protection- Closed-Toe shoes- Water....you will need it Any tactical pistol gear you would like to work with or try out in the drills, feel free to bring it. We will not be incorporating the AR-15 into drills at this point, but that might come in the future. The key to becoming truly armed is to learn as much about your firearm and shooting as you can, and to practice often. Frequently practicing what you learn in class will develop the necessary skills and habits you will need to effectively defend yourself. Femme Fatale's Training staff are constantly researching and learning the latest techniques in defensive shooting to pass these onto YOU...our students! Below is a summary of the training we have to offer in order to enable and empower our students.
