Here are the top 3 stories in Buffalo today: Erie County schools have begun to roll out a new COVID policy aimed at keeping kids in school. The Test to Stay policy is designed to allow children, who would otherwise be subject to quarantine following an in-school COVID exposure, to continue attending classes as long as they remain symptom-free. The county first ran Test to Stay as a pilot program last month in the Grand Island Central School District, and it was hailed as a success. (WBFO)A local artist has been commissioned to design a statue for Forest Lawn Cemetery honoring the late Shirley Chisholm. Chisholm, who is buried at the cemetery's Birchwood Mausoleum, made history as the first Black woman to serve in the United States Congress and run for president. The artist selected for the project is Julia Bottoms, a Buffalo native who is currently an artist-in-residence at Albright-Knox Northland. (WKBW-TV)Police are asking for help looking for a missing 17-year-old boy from Lackawanna. Derrion Gray was last seen on Nov. 3 wearing a gray polo shirt and gray sweatpants. According to the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services, Gray might be with a male companion. Anyone with information about Gray's whereabouts is asked to call the NYS Missing Persons Clearinghouse at 1-800-346-3543.
