Find yourself a nice design and layout and a measuring wheel, and get to know the area you'll be working in. Including where the electrical wiring is, where there can be interference, where there would be bends or curves, and where there might be slope. No matter how eager you are to get your cat6 plenum 1000ft network up and running, don't hurry it. You'll be considerably better off in the long term if you spend a few hours ahead of time performing meaningful planning.
