$4M Allocated To Help Kane County Nonprofits Impacted By COVID-19

AURORA, IL — Homeless shelters, food pantries and mental health organizations in Kane County impacted by COVID-19 are eligible for American Rescue Plan funding. The Kane County American Rescue Plan has allocated $4 million in funding to help organizations suffering as a result of the pandemic. To qualify, organizations must be registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit as of Jan. 1, 2019, have a facility located in Kane County, and be in good standing with federal, state and local standards and requirements. Applications, which can be found on Kane County's website, are open through Jan. 31.
