Description

I play bass and sing lead and backup vocals. I’m 55. And I’m a guy. At least for now…. Meaning I won’t always be 55…. I play bass and sing, would simply like to find a competent guitar player that sings. Or piano player that sings. We write a list of songs we commonly know. Maybe each learn a few more. We sit on bar stools side by side in small places like wine bars, tap rooms, simple setup, we play, have fun, make a couple dollars and go home. So acoustic gigs. Laid back, fun. I tend to like 70-80’s music as do most at these kind of venues. I don’t play for money and also like to play sporadic gigs as we are in the mood to book them. A freelance sax player, female vocalist, violinist could be added as a third on a whim. Don’t respond: 1. Asking me for video-audio or a bio 2. Telling me you played with Van Halen because you once jammed in a garage with a guy that was the third cousin of Mark Stone who played bass with VH. Maybe it was Manmoth…. 3. I don’t use social media so no Facebook/Instagram. I quit Facebook after my nieces would post hundreds of pictures daily of their kids and I started hating them. JK 4. I don’t need to know about your gear and touring experience. Or who you produced. I am a very good bass player, solid gear, have a good voice for leads and good with harmonies. Clean cut, no Foghat t-shirts but I do like a Slow Ride. That was stupid!!! Just think about all good rock, pop, music from the 70’s and 80’s. I like to avoid the typical: Drift Away, Purple Rain, I’m a joker, I’m a smoker - whatever that songs is called…. You get the point. If you are intrigued let’s have a simple phone chat. We will quickly know.
