The Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Services (IDDS) department at Jewish Family & Career Services (JF&CS) is dedicated to providing services and support to individuals with disabilities, their families, and caregivers. We provide meaningful and enriching programs to help adults with disabilities find and keep jobs, complete daily essential tasks like errands and bills, grow emotionally and socially, give back to their community, and more.We are seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the JF&CS team. As a DSP, you have the opportunity for a fulfilling and rewarding career making a difference in the lives of adults with disabilities. We have multiple openings, and compensation is $15 an hour.  Sign on bonus: $500 (50% after first month and rest after month 3) EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent required.Associates degree preferred.1 - 2 years experience working with individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities is preferred.REQUIREMENTS: The ability to organize, mediate, to be creative, multitask, empathetic, and willing to learn.This includes the development of plans, completion of assessments and daily documentation.Must be able to use the English language, and communicate clearly.Must be able to manage time effectively, to work alone and as a team member.Must have a Georgia State Driver’s License, Georgia registration and a privately insured vehicle.Must possess and maintain a working cell phone with voice mail.Must possess and maintain ability to receive and respond to all business related text messaging.Must have email capability and the ability to check email at least once every work day.Must have basic knowledge and experience with computers Learn more and apply: www.jfcsatl.org/dsp-classified
