The Position: The Facilities Technician will contribute to the success of the Atlanta Tech Village team and building operations by assisting the Membership & Operations Manager. This position will play a crucial part in keeping up with the building maintenance.  Daily tasks could include anything from fixing a leaky toilet, to touching up paint, to fixing door handles, to putting together furniture, to answering help desk tickets.  A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, a team player, a strong communicator, and proactive in building maintenance. Facilities experience required.  Our approach is relationship-driven. We lead with the community (it’s not about the office space). We celebrate each other’s successes and operate as a double bottom line business balancing profit with community mindedness.  Additional Job Details:  Purchase necessary tools/supplies to maintain the building  Assist the community team with office moves Answer help desk tickets in a timely manner Assist members with any urgent facilities issues  Manage vendors onsite and keep up with vendor services paperwork Minor HVAC upkeep Parking deck maintenance Assist Level 7 (ATV’s cleaning team) when necessary Act as a liaison between members and Atlanta Tech Village team regarding any facilities needs Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure a clean and organized community space (i.e. light, furniture, bathrooms, kitchens, HVAC) Participate in community events as needed (i.e. decorating, setting up the space and kegs, greeting members, assisting event vendors) Parking gate maintenance & emergencies (training will be provided) Patch & paint work Trash/Dumpster maintenance Why Atlanta Tech Village: A small team of passionate, hard-working people.  Mission-based work supporting and inspiring entrepreneurs.
