Homebased Today is proud to bring you our new event, Live One on One Sales Pitch Training. The act of selling in itself is a skill, a skill that needs to be honed and practised on a consistent basis. There is a common misconception that you have to be a "born closer" to be a success in a sales position. This is an absolute lie. Anybody can become a sales expert. But it takes practice, and the right technique. When I started out in my first sales position, I practised my pitch again and again in the mirror or with a relative. It helped, but it didn't prepare me completely for the stress of dealing with real objections from real potential clients. I would find myself getting nervous, and then forgetting the correct response and in the end just hoping the person would put me out of my misery by walking away from me and not buying. This was my reality, but it doesn't have to be yours. Sales is an extremely rewarding career, when the right amount of work has been put in. In this online event, you will be paired up with another complete stranger, and you will both practice your sales pitch to each other. The act of getting past your fear of dealing with strangers and nailing down your pitch will do absolute wonders for your commission rates. I can guarantee it.
