Diesel Mechanic
As a Diesel Mechanic you will perform a full range of typical upkeep and preventative maintenance tasks as well as repair of brake systems, steering mechanisms, and transmissions.
Job Description / Responsibilities
• Mechanical / electrical engine upkeep of heavy equipment and commercial trucks
• Performing preventive maintenance, including fluid analysis, fluid change-outs, and part replacement
• Conducting diagnosis and troubleshooting of trucks, equipment, and engine malfunctions and failures
• Running electrical diagnostics to diagnose electrical components of large heavy equipment
Additional responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:
• Complete inspections
• Implementation of optional accessories
• General repairs
• Upkeep of the service trucks and equipment
• Responsible for the inventory of onboard parts
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time
• Expertise and professionalism to perform exceptionally well and with minimal guidance in any given maintenance situation.
• You will need to have the initiative and hands-on experience to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment quickly and efficiently to minimize down-time.
• You must also be an excellent communicator with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
