Machinist A Hamden Connecticut based company has an opening for a full-time experienced machinist. The individual must be proficient with machine shop manufacturing and inspection tools, able to perform manual machine set-ups and operate machines such as lathes and millers. Cylindrical grinding experience would be helpful as well. Recent shop experience in a manufacturing or repair environment will be helpful. The job requires some basic mechanical repair and reassembly skills as a part of the job functions. The individual will be responsible for accuracy and completeness with regard to repair instructions, blue print interpretation and completion of machine shop tasks.
