ACG Builds is an expanding mid-size general contractor looking for an experienced pickup carpenter with some lead experience. Most projects are commercial, multi-family, or senior living. High workmanship quality and attention to all the details is a must. You have all major power and hand tools, reliable cell phone, and truck or van. We are looking for someone that has a conquer-any-problem positive attitude, can be self-managed, and solve the small problems in the field on their own without direction. 1-2 years experience will be necessary for you to perform at the level needed for this job. Lead experience and plans reading or willing to learn is strongly desired and earns the higher end of the pay scale. You'll rotate around ACG projects (project areas are Seattle to Eastside, Lynnwood to Renton) performing carpentry and other light duty trade tasks as required. You may work several days at one project, a day at another, a couple of days at yet another project, etc. each week. You may also meet with an occasional tradesman to go over a plumbing layout or a drywall patch, or similar so strong English communication skills are a must. In a given week you may do anything from: wood backing and blocking, installing door/cabinet hardware, soffiting, installing a window; building a concrete form, running base, installing a door, framing a wall, light demo or other general carpentry tasks, and general end of job punchlist items like installing a light fixture or plumbing fixture; or making material pick-ups or deliveries. This position earns $27-32/hr. D.O.E. with paid holidays and paid vacation time. This position is full time with hours being 7a/8a- 4p/5p. Drug test and background check required as well as legal U.S. work status proof like a passport, green card, work permit, or visa.
