Mobile Audio Experts is hiring for an interlock technician. This is a full time position servicing and installing ignition interlock devices. No experience is required and paid training is provided. Good customer service and some basic knowledge of tools are a plus, 12 volt installation experience is preferred. We work on cars, an interest in how they work and being able to take things apart and put them back together is a desirable skill. Ability to pass a WSP background check is a must. Applicants cannot have any DUI or Felony convictions over the last 5 years. Applicants must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. We operate in University Place and Lacey, team members may be required to work at either location. The hours are 8:45 am-5:15 pm Tuesday-Saturday. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: * Installation, servicing, troubleshooting and removal of all products * Fulfill daily operational duties of assigned facility * Operate a clean, organized and hazard free work environment * Conducts training sessions covering use of products to customers * Maintain a positive and caring atmosphere for customers and employees * Ability to think independently and work through service challenges consistently * Consistently perform daily inventory audits * Support of internal departments and personnel, assisting at any opportunity presented * Timely submission of required reports and expenses * Management of daily hours, not exceeding set thresholds weekly * Correspondence with management when challenges are presented * Maintain the integrity, confidentiality and security of pertinent information and records * Adherence to all state and federal rule, regulation and statute * Any other duty, as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) * High School Diploma or equivalent * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Possess excellent telephone skills * Detail orientated PHYSICAL DEMANDS * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
