Job Requirements: Good maintenance, and people skills; valid driver's license with clean driving record. We provide the vehicle! Position will require travel in company vehicle between properties depending on scheduling. Requires the ability to serve on-call, as scheduled, or as necessary. Requires the ability to safely lift, transport or otherwise move objects up to 50-lbs various distances. Requires the mobility and flexibility to move and use ladders and to access and work in confined spaces, or at heights in excess of nine feet. Summary of Job Description: Work on apartment maintenance projects, where demands require a varied experience and ability to work in a team environment and also without close supervision. To include: the maintenance and upkeep of property, buildings and grounds, performing essential functions; including, but not limited to the following: Minor electrical and plumbing work Appliance repair Drywall repair Experience with power tools Performs various physical tasks as directed; e.g., installing signage, digging post holes, moving appliances, climbing ladders, etc. Assist in turning apartments at move out to prepare for new occupancy. Ability to use a ladder when necessary. Responding promptly to work orders, service and emergency calls. Perform routine painting of both apartment interiors and building exteriors. Assist in detailing property for curb appeal on a regular basis, including grounds clean-up, emptying garbage and recycling at pool areas, leaf blowing, pressure washing, etc. Helps clean and maintain and organize property storage and shop areas. Distribute communications to residents. Ability to work within a team environment and also solo Maintain good public relations with tenants, guests and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner. Adhere to safety policies and procedures Perform all assigned duties as directed by Property Manager or Supervisor and assist the overall team in any way possible Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for locally owned, property management company.
