Earth Energy Tire Recycling Solutions: We are a local tire recycling company that has been in business here in Austin more than 8 years. If you enjoy the freedom of working outside with no one looking over your shoulder. If you enjoy being on the open road all day and home every evening. If you like to get your workout while your at work. This may be the job for you. The pay is $16/Hr. We start work every morning at 7am in a lot across from Austin Bergstrom Airport. We are usually done for the day around 3pm. Some times earlier and sometimes later. We spend the day picking up scrap tires from dealerships and tire shops. Loading them into a 26” box truck. Once the boxtruck is full we return to the yard to unload the tires into a semi truck trailer. The norm is one or two truckloads of tires per day. Box truck driving experience is preferred but not mandatory. We have positions for helpers/passengers as well as drivers. Will train the right person to drive the truck if interested. The pay is $16/Hr. Work is steady. We run a crew 5-6 days a week, some times 7. In good weather and bad. You will have the flexibility to sign up for your schedule every month. Take off as many or as little days as you want each month. Just decide what days you want off before you sign up for them and show up for the days you sign up for. The people we are looking to hire are mature, responsible, dependable, honest and relatively physically fit. This is not a job for people with weak wills or bodies. The job is simple and low stress. It can be dirty so dress appropriately. Bring your rain gear when it's wet and wear warm clothes when it's cold. We work outside. That said we don't have a uniform or dress code. The only requirements we have are that you have a valid TX Drivers License, working smart phone, dependable transportation to and from work and a positive attitude.
