Then attend the V O workshop with Jeffery Hutchins in February. This 4-week course will be held at Head First Media studios starting February 1st. We’ll cover all the topics listed above plus more! You’ll learn what it takes to get started in voice over. Where to find work. How you can setup your own recording space in your home on a budget. We’ll cover everything from different microphone choices to software and computers needed for the work! Additionally, since we’ll be in an actual recording studio you’ll get a first hand look at what professionals use and a look behind the scenes of an actual voice over session. The cost is $199 for 4 -1 hour weekly sessions. February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd. 6:30 – 7:30 pm. All sessions will be recorded and available online after the course so if you miss one, don’t worry! Week 1 topics: What equipment do I need to get started in voice over? This is a BIG topic and there are LOTS of answers. At the V O Workshop we’ll discuss different ways and budgets to get started with the least expensive to some of the most expensive equipment.. Microphones, software, computers and accessories. Creating a recording space in your home. Where to get equipment. Week 2 topics: What is voice over. Who uses voice over? Do I need a great voice for voice over? Where would I fond voice over work? Week 3 topics: The Demo! What do I need for a great demo? How can I make my ouw demo? Should I make my own demo? Week 4 – Q&A any subject about v o you’d like to know about!
