Looking for senior dog

I lost my mini-poodle due to congestive heart failure. I adopted him already sick. I pampered him til the end and would love to find another senior dog (no larger than 20 pounds) that is in need of a loving home. Only catch - must be okay with cats as I do have two blind female felines. they do love dogs. I am okay with any health issues and if falling on hardship (no judgements - as I have too), I would love to take the dog prior to sending to a shelter. I have no children - my animals are my kids. I only go to office 2 x week and can take with me one day and have a neighbor who would spend the day the other. So being alone would not be an issue unless i have to food shop.
