Be inspired as we mindfully explore the Lance Johnson Post No Ills exhibit at the McConnell Arts Center and ground into the breath. This is your space to explore breathing techniques that cultivate wellness for the mind, body, and spirit. Together, we focus our intention on creating a masterpiece of our lives.
Breathwork offers numerous benefits such as activating the body's natural healing systems, releasing feel good hormones, bringing calm to the mind and body, and tuning into the spirit. We allow time for reflection and connection before and/or after breath centered meditation. Masks will be required as we spread out among the gallery to tune into the breath.
Here are some tips for your breathwork session:*If you are pregnant or expecting, have any pre-existing health conditions, or respiratory concerns, this session may not be ideal for you. Please consult your physician before participating in breathwork.
Arrive on time. Dress comfortably.It is recommended not to eat 1-2 hours prior to breathwork.Come with an open mind & heart.Bring a Journal or sketchbook.Bring a mat, floor pillows, or blanket to sit on.We will review potential physical sensations caused by breathwork during the introduction
