Small reptile rescue

Description

Hi there, with the new tax laws on payment apps I've decided to make my small time operation an official non profit rescue. That being said, I've started advertising as a place to surrender small reptiles such as: snakes (50gal terrariums or smaller to allow space for more animals. I'm not equipped for a large snake at this time), dragons, lizards, geckos, turtles, or whatever you call your cold blooded friend. WHS is overrun to the point of waiving adoption fees for animals over 6 months old and I'm not sure how equipped they are for cold blooded critters to start with. If you or someone you know needs to surrender their pet for whatever reason, please consider me. I never profit from the animals I rehome. I Target train them and get them to a healthy weight as well as Install enrichment activities in their homes and handle them appropriately, giving them the freedom to escape and hide if they choose. I make sure that the homes they go to know where to get healthy nutrition for their new child(ren) and how to care for them properly. People can reach out to me for the life of the animal (or me if it's a tortoise) for guidance anytime something comes up. Doing this feeds my soul, not my wallet; I'm happy to help animals in need. I am in the process of applying for all the proper credentials so I don't have a name yet, but I'll post here in the future as a reptile rescue/surrender station. I have been doing this for years, but I'm just now making it official in the eyes of the IRS lol (again, I've never profited. But I have been reimbursed for habitat additions and now I'll be taxed for those contributions) Thank you for your support, I can take other animals but I have a 2 year old weimaraner/black lab rescue that is very dominating. I can't accept aggressive breeds because he will start the fight and they will likely finish it. Also, I can only handle one dog at a time. I do accept rats/mice but please specify if you're relinquishing them completely or if you want them to stay as pets to be rehomed (I don't feed my snakes live mice. If they become feeders they will be culled humanely and have happy lives until that day comes) Thank you for your time and share with whoever you think might need my help. Picture is of my one eyed ball python, for attention. He's my personal pet and not available for adoption. I do currently have 3 leopard geckos but they are not ready for homes yet. If you've been thinking of getting one, please contact me. They are healthy, just need more training.
