A counte-protest of the Raleigh March for Life with dance music, pro-abortion rights activism, and a diaper drive for Black Diapers Durham! We took a break in 2020, but we are back with our 6th Annual Abortion Access Disco! What: A music filled, dancing encouraged, counter-protest of the Raleigh March for Life Why: Abortion Access is a human right, a normal part of reproductive healthcare for countless humans, and is more at risk than ever before. 2022 is a year that may bring radical changes to when and where people in the South can have an abortion - We gather to raise awareness, connect pro-abortion rights advocates to the organizations that do this work, and push back against the harmful narratives promoted by the anti-abortion movement. What to bring: Your mask, your vaccination card, your booster antibodies, protest signs, and DIAPERS. We are proud to be transforming this space into a space where reproductive justice can happen! We will be collecting donations of unopened, new, diapers and wipes for Diapers for Black Durham.
