To prepare for Biblical action on the most pressing injustices facing the 'Dotte, Church United invites you to our Research Kickoff. NOTE: THIS EVENT IS FREE - YOU SIMPLY NEED TO REGISTER IN ADVANCE as PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED as COVID PRECAUTION We will be kicking off the process of understanding the root causes and viable solutions to the problems we decided to focus on: Homelessness and Lack of Decent, Affordable HousingViolent Crimes Organizers from Justice Matters who organized and successfully stopped a $150 million dollar jail expansion and passed two referendums (1) To expand the mental health system and (2) To put over 11 million into affordable housing will be on site to discuss a formal organizing process to: Define the ProblemIdentify SolutionsMap the Powers & Principalities Responsible Form a Winning Issue Campaign Churches United is a coalition of churches in Wyandotte County committed to doing justice.
