Theater Drop-in: Playing Pretend, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15 at Momentum Coffee, 2119 South State Street, Chicago. Sponsored by FAME Center Chicago. Students ages 9-12 can drop in for an hour of theatrical world building all around a theme. The class explores storytelling, character creation, collaboration, with a little improvisation to help us along the way. Each drop-in is a chance to start with fresh ideas on a new topic. No advance preparation or experience is needed, just a desire to play. Some reading might be incorporated in some of the themes. Free. To register, visit.
