Seeking to pick up/develop a new hobby, and make a friend or two along the way. I've toyed with the piano and guitar on and off for years, never developed all that much skill. But I have years of experience with writing professionally -- everything from advertising copy to scripts for training films to technical manuals. And I love to dash off clever lines and short poems. I figure me and the write composer, working together, might come up with some fun songs. I'm "mature", around 60, he/him if that matters. My musical sensibilities are very much Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Sarah McGlaghlan (I'm sure I spelled that wrong), Simon and Garfunkle, folk music, Irish music. Tuneful, lyrical music. Open to any adult age, gender. Just for fun, maybe work virtually, maybe meet sometimes in person. Just serious enough about formalities to take out copyrights, which costs next to nothing and is easy to do. If by chance we prove to have a talent together and can monetize this a little, so much the better. But that's not the planned goal, nor is it too likely. It's for fun.
