Looking for 1-3 guitarists interested in jazz and blues (think Bill Frisell not Joe Bonamassa) to get together a couple of times a month for jamming and swapping ideas. I’m an intermediate guitarist looking to improve and play socially with liked minded players. I’m interested in playing jazz standards, jazz blues progressions and maybe some funk. Sight reading skills would be helpful but not necessary as long we can work on melody, harmony and improvising at a good level. My house is large enough to host and I’d be willing to travel or even rent some space if it makes sense. Playing out could be a long term goal, but mainly interested in playing great guitar music in a relaxed setting.
