Hey y'all, I'm a multi-instrumentalist who plays around town in a few groups and I've been working hard on my own project over the past year, but I've had a really hard time finding people who can commit to anything new. everyone in my circles is too busy to help me out, so I'm hoping to cast a line into the CL abyss and see if there's anybody out there who needs some work and is willing to put in some work in the beginning stages of this project. so, lets get into it. Ideally I'm looking for a bassist, a pianist, and hand percussion. I have a great drummer already that has been learning the material, and I will take it to the stage as soon as I have a bassist up to speed as a trio (I'm playing trumpet). then it can be built out into a quartet + as it goes. The music is all original and you need to be comfortable with free improvisation, odd meters and microtonality or at least interested in these things.
