Know a truly needy Military Vet?

If we're fortunate enough to not be in need of the basic things in life, shouldn't we at least TRY to help a bit... someone less fortunate? Military vets have done SO much for us; guess it's a long shot...but..think it'd be nice to say "thank you" in some way...to a Vet...or his/her family. I often wonder if these people are really, truly being helped..like they should. Your thoughts?
