Leaking /dripping shower after water is turned off

I have a dripping shower after the water is turned off. This has been happing for 3 months and has gotten progressively worse. Licensed plumber needed. Looking for today. After taking a shower water slowly drips from the shower head. Drip drip drip. It’s not a lot nor is it a steady stream of water. It’s just drips. Last week I tried to take the shower Handel apart. I could not access the valve inside. I believe the valve needs to be replaced. Willing to go with you to Home Depot or compensate you for parts, etc. Text or email if available today.
