Seeking Part-Time Nanny / Caretaker

Our family seeks an experienced and reliable nanny/caretaker for 18+ hours a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, occasional weekends) for our active 4 year old child (who is in Pre-K), starting at $17/hour. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time work as long as they have experience in taking care of children with some light housekeeping. If you have children around our child’s age, we welcome you to bring them. Responsibilities Include: (1) Entertaining/playing with our child after school. (2) Instilling good manners and a sense of responsibility in our child. (3) Planning and leading educational activities including reading, helping our child practice reading and writing. (4) Ability to help with meal prep and kitchen cleaning after meal is served for our child. (5) Comfortable with supervising baths and assisting with bathing our child. Ensure bathroom is clean and tidy after use. (6) Putting away the child’s books, clothes, and toys after use. (7) Ability to drop off/pick up our child at school and other activities. (8) Being prepared to cover entire days when (1) the child is sick (2) the school is closed for teacher holidays or because of COVID or (3) the child needs to miss school due to certain appointments. Requirements Include: (1) Valid Driver’s License with clean drug-free background and driving record. (2) Having reliable transportation. (3) Non-smoker. (4) Honest, patient, professional, reliable, with a positive attitude. (5) Loving kids and helping them learn/play. (6) Minimum 3 years of experience and 3 valid non-relative references required. (7) Proof of authorization to work in the U.S. (8) Comfortable with 2 dogs. (9) Having flexibility with changes in schedule. Preferences Include: (1) Having background in childhood education
