Following the run, we will head over to Black Coffee Northwest for their Saturday market which highlights local Black businesses. Event begins at 10:30am at the Shorewood Track, 17300 Fremont Ave N, Shoreline, WA 98133Shortly after 11:30am, we'll head over to Black Coffee Northwest, which is 0.5 miles from the track. More about Black Coffee Northwest: Black Coffee Northwest is a community center that serves great coffee. They've been opened since 2020 and have hosted musical performances, back-to-school drives, small business marketplaces, and they run an internship program training youth in all aspects of the business, from the basics of being a barista to finance and marketing. Some interns eventually work at Black Coffee. Despite this work, the coffee shop has been the target of vandalism and racists attacks. BGR, BMR, and CSRD stand in support of Black Coffee Northwest and the ways in which they are uplifting the community and keeping people caffeinated!
