Great Pyrenees Mix in desperate need of home

This is Bea. She is sassy and smart and has a lot to say. She loves to play and chase lizards. She could sit in the grass outside all day if you let her. She's 3 years old. Unfortunately she got very protective of a bone that her grandpa with Alzheimer's kept trying to take and bit him. Her busy nurse mom is very sad but knows that Bea needs to be in a home with no kids and a yard (or a LOT of walking.) Someone who can teach her manners is a plus! We have been trying to find her a home and do not want her to cross the rainbow bridge yet. She went overboard protecting her bone but we think she could still be a great dog for the right home.
